Food may be used as a motivator.
Talk to the animal respectfully, as you would to a partner, rather than treating it like a pet.
Use simple commands, whether verbal or gestured. Wargs have a limited understanding of language (but never assume they do not understand you).
Show no fear.
Make sure you project confidence and a strong will. Wargs respect strength and power, so it is important to show no fear. This does not mean you should try to dominate the creature. Such action will likely provoke retaliation on the creatureâs behalf.
